How do I get my first client?

Warm Reach-outs

Warm Reachouts are easier. Guaranteed Sales
Warm reach-outs are essentially the people who know you or know of you at least. "Where do I find warm clients?" It's easy. Everyone has somebody to reach out to. Throughout all the platforms you have an account in, go through all contacts, there would be heaps. Phone contacts, email, Instagram, FaceBook, Snapchat, TikTok, any opportunity to reach out to someone you know. To structure it better, pick one platform first to focus on (you'll reach out to the rest of your contacts on other platforms eventually). Now, what do I say to my potential client? Easy. These are people who know you, so start the conversation with something you have knowledge about, if you don't know anything, research about them. "Hey, I heard you got a new job! Congrats." Become on good terms, they know you so it's all a positive and mutual encounter. Now if you don't know how to be good at talking to people (people that you do know), use the A-C-A method: Acknowledge what they say, Compliment what they say, and Ask another question. Let them know you're listening.

How do I make an offer to a client?

Now eventually you gonna have to break the ice and make an offer in regards to the business you're trying to grow. "Everything must be hard before it can be easy" - Alex Hormozi. So when asking them, propose the value you offer, and how it helps them. Indicate the likelihood of achievement, and how long it will take to get the best results possible. If they don't know what they need and want... Show them. Show what they aren't doing so well in and provide solutions. They now think you have the knowledge and that you can help them further. You should be able to do these things in what your business plan is tailored towards, whether it's website design, marketing, copywriting, social media management, etc.

What can I do to make my client say yes?

After you propose your value and their problem, and that you have the knowledge to fix that problem, the next step is to give them an offer. The way to do this is to offer them I free service, a minimal and simple service that will require a purchased offer later. This can be a glimpse of what your actual offer is, so if it's web design you specialise in, design their home page, and when they see the value you bring you can charge them for the rest of the website. Or if it's a marketing service, show them only the first couple of steps, and charge for the rest if they're interested.

Why should I offer free services?

Give Value. And You Will Recieve.
You must give them a free service that shows them a glimpse of what you are capable of, gaining trust and expressing that the value you bring is worth paying for. Providing free offers will:

- Gain a good reputation (Good testimonials and refer to other potential clients)

- Experience, If you're a new business owner you'll gain new knowledge by doing free services, that can help in the future. (There's always something to benefit from in the long run)

- If the people you do offer free services to get the value they want, you'll receive positive reviews, and feedback, giving you a better idea for new approaches when reaching out to other potential clients. Doing this will get the ball rolling and you'll start to gradually be known for your service. Eventually, no need to offer free services and start charging whatever price is worth receiving.

However make sure your free service does provide value, but is minimal, not increasing too much-hidden costs, time, effort, and sacrifice. Save that energy for the actual offer you intend to get paid for. Free service should be easy and simple to understand so that they can trust you with the rest.
